About the walk
This walk follows the Tweed, one of Scotland’s most famous salmon rivers, as it meanders through beautiful Border countryside of grassy riverbanks and mature woodlands. The area is home to a wide variety of birds, plants and animals. The route passes several large houses including Abbotsford, former home of Sir Walter Scott.
